Karine Achemyan: “Political activity of women is increasing”.

This week, National Assembly of Armenia in the new convocation included a new agenda about “Equal rights and opportunities for women and men” in the second reading, at the same time the UN Development Programme presented new three-year project “Promoting equal rights and opportunities. Women in the democratic process on the ground “, the main purpose of which is fully reflected in its name. This goal is to promote greater representation of women in local government. We talked about this with RPA deputy Karine Achemyan.
