Women in the Armed Forces. discussion about the current situation and problems

“Within the framework of NATO Week -2016” in Armenia took place in Yerevan on November 14. “Women in the Armed Forces” workshop, during which they spoke about the degree of involvement of women in the armed forces and opportunities, as well as existing problems. Mediamax refers to Topic.

The discussion was introduced by “The work done within the framework of the system for providing protection guidelines” for the protection of women’s rights and equal opportunities, best practices and international civil society perspective. Head of the Centre for Human Rights and the Ministry of Defense building integrity, Lieutenant Alik Avetisyan said that the Armed Forces approaches to women’s rights consisted of cooperation under the last three or four years with the United Nations Population Fund.
