Medal of Parental Glory and 1 Million AMD for Large Families

President of the Republic of Armenia Armen Sargsyan presented a number of awards on the occasion of Independence Day. Among other awards, several families were awarded the “Medal of Parental Glory.”

Particularly, for contributingt to the upbringing and strengthening of the family, for nurturing their children and ensuring their physical and moral development, President Armen Sargsyan awarded Shushanik Rstakyan (with 12 children), and Angela and Martik Melqonyans (with 10 children) Tsaghik and Armen Vardanyans (with 10 children), Marine Sargsyan Mushegh Khachatryan (with 8 children).

Angela Melkonyan has 15 children but says she has no complaints. “I was awarded a parenting medal for being a mother of many children. I have 15 children so far. Difficulties, of course, do exist, but everything happens in its time. ” In addition to the medal, the family also received a cash prize from Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan – 1 million AMD. “We’ll use it for happy occasions,” she said.

Let us remind that today the President of the Republic of Armenia awarded a group of people with medals, conferred titles and degrees for dedication, protection of law and order, family formation and strengthening, significant contribution to music, culture, education, art, as well as a prolific group of prolific literary and cultural activities.

Today in Gyumri Black Fortress dedicated to the 28th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Armenia took place the “Hero of Our Time” award for the first time. Members of the government, MPs, governors of the Republic of Armenia, diplomatic representatives of foreign countries accredited in Armenia and other officials were also present at the event.

“In my opinion, the winner of this award is the collective image of our heroes of all time. She is a man who made the decision to make a revolution in his life and moved from town to live in the village. This person, being a family mother, did not consider that she had nothing to do and could not do business. The person who received the top prize at the awards ceremony is the creative collective image of our people, our nation, “the Prime Minister said.

Rita Martirosyan thanked the Prime Minister and all the media outlets that covered their activities. “I am happy that with my healing teas I can help keep people healthy. I have new projects that I need to implement, ”said the winner.
