Armenuhi Tsaturyan: “Women are very active Areni, it is necessary to encourage them”

Armenuhi Tsatouryan is the only female candidate among the 15 candidates running for council in the Vayots Dzor community. Born in Areni community after graduation, she studied at the Teacher Training College named after Axel Bakunts school and then continued her education at the  Department of the elementary education and methodics of the State Pedagogical University named after Khachatur Abovyan.

For 4 years she worked as a teacher in Areni secondary school and then in 2004 was appointed the organizer of educational work. She is a RPA member. She is married and has two children who are students of the Yerevan State University of Economics.

2006 was crucial for Armenuhi Tsaturian’s social activities  when a number of international organizations organized seminars and training courses on women’s participation in local elections for active women in Areni community.
