The revolutionary invention of Amalia Kostanyan will make the existence of paper thickness phones possible
The inventive invention of the Armenian alumni of Cambridge University may revolutionize the production of energy-efficient devices, Armenpress reports.
Luys Foundation Scholar Amalia Kostanyan is working with her teammates at Cambridge University to develop a nanotechnology on the basis of a new generation of screens that are completely carbon-based. “They are profitable because they can be designed with new types of materials that are completely processed in laboratory conditions and with the qualities we want. We can create devices that will completely change our environment, allowing silicon-based devices to be replaced by nanostructure devices in mass production, “said Amalia Kostanyan.
According to the inventor, they have already received a patent with Cambridge University, and now they are thinking about mass production. Since the basis of innovation is mainly the production of organic materials, it can be used in any industry. “Imagine phones, tablets of paper thickness, and almost no energy for their feeding. Can be used in medicine, for example, there are devices that check the heart, the rest of the organs during the day. They can be constantly carried on your body as they are carbon-based, they are compatible with life, “added the young scientist, adding that the product will be quite cheap because almost no material is used to create them, and too little energy to work: “By accumulating half an hour of energy, it will be possible to use this device for three years,” she said.
Amalia Kostanyan said that at present, they are discussing how to set up a technology lab in Armenia.
