Who know? Maybe future Aznavour is among them?
Charlez Aznavour is ready to host refugees at his house.
Yesterday the world famous singer Charles Aznavour started his concert in Paris with “Migrants” song, and expressed his support for refuges once again. Aravot.am reports that this information was provided by Telesurtv.net.
“The song was written 30 years ago but it remains urgent. I am very affected by what is happening with the refugees. I imagine my parents in the same situation when they left Armenia and left for France. That is why I am always on their side, who beat the doors rather than those closing doors”, – said the singer during the concert.
Aznavour has also said that he is willing to accept refugees in his second house, where he could easily build separate house for them, – “I sacrifice some olives without any problem”, – sais Aznavour. He recalled that refugees have given so many things to France. The singer brought examples of Spanish artist Pablo Picasso and Egyptian composer Gi Bearri. “It is an amazing opportunity for France. Who knows, maybe future Aznavour is among them”.
Let’s recall that in his interview given to Agence France Press Aznavour said:
“I am experiencing severe distress when I see crowds of people wandering with their children. Fortunately, I have never tasted the sorrows of such a situation but I am sure that my migrant parents experienced it. We need to take care of their future, improve their situation”.
In this regard, he recalled the idea he had already proposed, that is to settle immigrants in remote areas of France, small towns and villages, which are virually abandoned by local residents. “Thus, these places will be equipped with new vigor. There are people of different specialties among these migrants – doctors, bakers, etc. Their efforts will allow opening schools, post offices in these areas”, – said 91-year-old singer.
