Women break stereotypes

“Today in our country equality between women and men is a reality only on paper. Discrimination against women is everywhere – in the family and workplace”, – such opinion was expressed by the organizers of the conference entitled “Women break stereotypes” held on May 19 at the” Congress “hotel, in the face of” Armenian Progressive Youth “and” AIESEC in Armenia “NGOs.

The ttopic is addressed by Aravot.am, noting that the purpose of the conference was to involve young people and youth organizations in the public debate on women’s labor rights, social dialogue, identifying opportunities for the application of tools for the effective fight against discrimination against women in Armenia.

“Our program is based on the idea that the equal participation of men and women promotes progress of society. Women can have their equal participation and contribution in all areas, and wastage of such great human resource is a great luxury for Armenia.
