How can you destroy green park near Margaryan hospital and force young mothers and new born babies to breathe dust and petrol of Mashtots avenue, which is one of the most polluted streets in Yerevan? What newborn babies need, boutiques or oxygen?
The group of the environmental activists has been staging protests for seven days against installation of kiosks in green areas. Last Saturday, some 30 young activists formed a wall in the avenue demanding to stop the removal of the demolished kiosks from Abovyan Avenue to Mashtots Avenue. The environmentalists are protesting against the illegal construction and destruction of green space.
