Prohibiting information on baby’s gender at early periods of pregnancy
The Ministry of Healthcare is going to take this measure in order to prevent selective abortions and fight against them. The Ministry has already drafted a bill which proposes to prohibit telling parents about their baby’s gender until the fetus turns three weeks. It is still under discussion and has not been put into circulation yet.
